Joanne Colan, formerly of MTV Europe, and most recently, Table 50, has been chosen to replace Amanda Congdon as the host of the vblog site Rocketboom.com

Rocketboom.com is a vblog, or video blog site, created by Andrew Baron and his partner, Amanda Congdon. Video blogging presents a video similar to a news cast, and offers the ability to comment via the blog web site.

Rocketboom.com began over a year and a half ago, by Andrew Baron. Mr. Baron advertised in Craigs List for an "on air" host, and Amanda Congdon was chosen. Since then, Ms. Congdon became partners, owning 49% of Rocketboom.

The dispute leading to Ms. Congdon's departure has been the fodder of discussion forums and 'blogs. It has degerated into a cyber soap opera, he said, she said. In another twist,  Jason Calacanis, Chief Executive of AOL's Weblogs, Inc. has offered Ms. Congdon a position with Netscape.

Joanne Colan has been chosen to replace Ms. Congdon as host of Rocketboom's video program, a three minute video which is available for download from Rocketboom.com
