2005 Chatmag News.
In the aftermath
of Hurricane Katrina, thousands of people are missing or displaced, with
no contact to the outside world. People are scattered throuout the
United States, families are separated, and loved ones seeking information
have little in the way of official sources to contact.
In their place,
the Internet community has stepped up to the task, establishing several
online databases and forums for those wishing to post messages and requests
to locate their missing loved ones.
Robert & Marisa
Gary of Ormond Beach Florida have established an online forum, dedicated
to those seeking survivors and offering assistance to those affected by
Hurricane Katrina.
In conjunction
with their site, Psionics-Anlarye IRC (Internet Relay Chat) Network is
providing a live chat channel. To access the chat channel using an IRC
client, such as mIRC, in the Status window, type: /server irc.psionics.net
When connected,
type: /join #hurricane-katrina
The chat channel
is also available via web browser, please see the External Links below.
