In a bid to outpace
rival MySpace.com, Facebook.com launched a new look to their site.
The most glaring
change is a news feed, which posts every change made by a users friends
in Facebook.
Many protest groups
have formed up on the Internet, railing against the changes.
Several online
petitions to Facebook are active, with some garnering over 10,000 signatures.
In the rush to
compete, Facebook took a step that is having the opposite effect, driving
traffic away to their competitors.
