Chatmag's Annual Top Ten Discussion Topics for 2005

Chatmag publishes the Top Ten list every November.  Statistics are gathered from Chatmag's server logs, showing the number of hits to a particular topic.  More detailed statistics are available, contact us for more information.

The most popular topic for the year was the war in Iraq, moving up from the number two spot last year.  With the release of a new Harry Potter novel, Harry Potter ranks second. In conjunction with the Iraq war, Arabic language discussions were third. Also included in the list is discussion regarding the closing of Yahoo! user created chat rooms, which appears in Chatmag as a news article, and discussion forum topic.
